California Judicial Watchdog Gets Let Up on Secret Records
The Commission on Judicial Performance (CJP) is an independent state agency responsible for investigating complaints made against judicial officers. The CJP filed a petition in San Francisco Superior Court to stop Elaine Howle, the California State Auditor, from accessing its confidential records during an audit.
